PRONTO - Timesheet Entry & Enquiry
Purpose: Use this procedure to enter timesheets and identify timesheet related transactions
Pre-requisite: Access to PRONTO Project Costing module
Procedure:
Entering Timesheets
1. Select Project Costing -> Project Transactions -> Timesheets -> Enter Timesheets (PROJ M159).
The Timesheet Header Details screen is
displayed.
2. Enter the Employee code or press F2 (Lookup Help) to display a list of employees
3. Enter
the date for which work entries will
be created.
4. Click
[OK].
5. The
Easy Entry Timesheet screen is now
displayed.
6. Enter the Worked date. This date will be posted against the project.
Note: If the end of week falls into the next month the timesheet should be split between the two months e.g. if there were three days in March and two in April, then the three days will be entered as 31st of March and the two days as 2nd of April.
7. Enter the Type for the work the employee performed, or press F2 (Lookup Help) to display a list of work type codes. Choose from the various Work Types as shown below:
8. Enter the project number, as per the approved timesheet.
Note: The project number must be a current project and at a status of In Progress or Set Up.

the cost category the time is to be
posted to. All timesheets can only be
posted against cost categories beginning with L for Labour and H for Hire. This will also update
the costs to this category in the projects once the timesheets have been
posted.
10. Enter
the normal time and any overtime the employee worked
11. If Type H for Hire is selected, an additional screen is displayed as shown below. Enter the Asset Number e.g. a GGV, GGM, GGT and the number of hours/KM used
12. Continue entering the timesheets in this manner until all times for the period ending have been completed
13. Once all timesheets have been entered, please contact Business Services team by emailing payroll@glgcorp.com to complete timesheet entry process by Posting Timesheets to Projects.
Note: Please note once the timesheets have been posted to Projects they cannot be edited again. Please check your entries before contacting the Business Services team for posting.
Editing Timesheets
After the timesheets have been entered, the details can be printed and checked using the Timesheet Details Listing from the reports menu. This report will ensure that all timesheets have been entered correctly before they are posted.
1. Select
Project Costing -> Project
Transactions -> Timesheets -> Enter Timesheets (PROJ M159).
2. Enter the employee number and category.
3. At the Timesheet Date prompt, press <Esc> to display the timesheet entries.
4. Use the arrow keys to locate the entry that is to be changed.
5. Select the [Correct] or [Remove] mode to edit the entry or to remove the entry altogether.
6. Press <Esc> when you have finished editing an entry to return to this screen.
Enquiring on the Timesheets transactions
The transaction for the timesheets can be
viewed against the project.
1. To
enquire on the timesheet transactions select Project Costing ->
Project Transactions (PROJ M117).
2. Use
the arrow keys or the [Find] mode to locate the relevant
project.
3. Select
the [Actual] mode
4. Highlight the correct labour category and then select the [Transactions] mode. The transactions will appear as a type PY record for normal labour entered
